In 1979, Zozefina and Iosif Vakondios founded the Greek taverna “Zozefina” in Galissas, Syros, aiming to build a beautiful and cozy space for customers to enjoy high quality food. Their success was based on their passion and the top notch ingredients they used in their food, which were sourced from straight from their farm. “Zozefina” became widely known and left its own mark on the island.
