In 1979, Zozefina and Iosif Vakondios founded the Greek taverna “Zozefina” in Galissas, Syros, aiming to build a beautiful and cozy space for customers to enjoy high quality food. Their success was based on their passion and the top notch ingredients they used in their food, which were sourced from straight from their farm. “Zozefina” became widely known and left its own mark on the island.
Over the years, their sons, Kostas and Stefanos took over the business and helped it grow and evolve with a new vision and fresh ideas. The two brothers renovated the taverna in Galissas and founded the company “Zozefinos Catering”, serving the same vision for high quality food and local traditional products.
The company is known for its high quality flavors. Our “Farm to Fork” philosophy has been established and our menu consists of local meats and fresh vegetables sourced from our farm, local dairy products and cheeses produced in our well-renowned cheese factory “Zozefinos”. The third generation has already joined the business with new experiences and their fresh sight.
For 44 years, Zozefinos Catering has built its name in the field of gastronomy for its high level of service and the exceptional taste of its dishes with loyal customers who are repeaters. Inspired by the Mediterranean and Greek cuisine and guided by fresh seasonal ingredients, we provide a quality dining experience with pure raw materials from our farm to your table.
